What follows will be hidden behind a cut. But, remember. The truth will set you free.

What you need to remember about BSG, at the end of the day, is that it is about humanity. People. Their suffering.

It's not about robots Vs. humans.

It's about the little battles that humanity, in whatever form, needs to do, to survive.

I'm not necessarily saying Humanity *deserves* to survive, but that this is about what that race, the *human race* would do if it had to survive.

The reality of all thinsg BSG is summed up in the relationship of Adama and Roslin. The beauty, the simplicity, the love here... it transcends. It's not meant to be sexual. It is clearly not meant to be perfect. It's just meant to be... huiman. And if you stop.

Just stop.

And think about the simple, human act of that one relationship; The beauty there. You realize what this show is for. What it means.

It's not about big frackin' robot Vs. human battles. It's not meant to be star-trekkian-ship-battles. It's about our own humanity. Our own existence.

Nothing is more real; more true; more human; than the relationship between Admiral Adama and President Roslin.

Everytihng in that relationship; it's ups and downs; EVERYTHING; It is the culmination of humanity.
