| LinkedIn: You scare me sometimes. |

LinkedIn finds the strangest ways to connect me to people.
Taking a look at who currently is listed as connections, I can clearly see how it would think I know Scott Baker and Adrienne Lavidor-Berman; they both used to work here, at the ol' [dot]Com.
Another of the four it thinks I know, Joyce Linehan, is a strange connection based on who I am connected with on LinkedIn, but, still, is reasonable, as she and I worked, for a few years, on getting FirstNight Coverage on Boston.com.
And then, finally, the connection that makes no freaking sense, but I'll take, because it puts me closer to rock stars, is this guy: Nate Rogers
Or, at least, I'm assuming it's him. It'd be even scarier if it WASN'T him.
Anyone know if it's not actually him?

| Quickly: Speaking of rockstars |

In an earlier post, I mentioned my desire to take a certain album on a date, and then back to my place for sweet, sweet love.
I'd like to update that statement to make sure it reads I'd even be willing to wake up next to said album in the morning and make it breakfast.
It's that good and a bag of cocaine.
Seriously, though, I know it's only the first third of the year down, but Aloud's "Fan the Fury" is at the top of my list for albums of the year. Unless Baker pulls a new LP out of their asses. Then I am obligated to not only date, sleep with, and wake up next to it, but also to marry it. Even if that is kind of incestual. Ok, mostly because it is incestual.
Any way, buy Fan the Fury: CD Baby iTunes Amazon
Edit: Speaking of Baker, check out this week's "Media Farm" in the Weekly dig: http://www.weeklydig.com/news-opinions/media-farm/200804/things-fall-apart
